The FIGMENTS are six instrumental works for two guitars.  Minimalist and often hypnotic, each explores dependence, a wholeness that is shared in two non-independent parts.  Melodic and rhythmic schemes exist not in either player’s part but in the sum of the two, so the two parts must be together to fit.  Panned wide on the EP, the unified outer texture is an illusion of two inextricably interwoven parts, fully appreciated on stereo headphones.
